Hunger

Told like a dark fairy tale, Hunger pits a woman's family traditions against the overwhelming needs of the forest. Compelled to reexamine the long-standing peace agreement between the woods and the town, main character Maren must decide if she's going to honor it or find a new way to feed the starving trees, who, in this forest, crave souls trapped in the bodies of the dead.
